A Dissection of Grief 8.5 x 11 inches
This 22-page publication explicitly tells of the designer’s raw, first-person experience with grief. The publication is paced in a way that mimics Morris’ personal timeline of each phase of grief. Each image is symbolic of the relationship with the friend that was lost. The entire publication is created in a color scheme of a specific sunset that meant a lot to the designer and late friend. Morris wanted the reader to almost feel like they took a look inside a personal journal and get a real, raw, unfiltered version of what it is like to suddenly lose someone in such a tragic way.
